This policy describes how Takeover AI Business Finder,
an owner-operated application associated with The Takeover Blog,
accesses and handles information obtained through Google APIs.

1. Information Accessed

With explicit account-owner authorization, the application
requests Gmail read-only access.

This permission can allow access to Gmail message content,
metadata, labels, and related mailbox information. The current
application workflow is designed to process selected
business-acquisition alert messages.

Information processed may include message identifiers,
processing status, relevant alert text, direct listing URLs,
and information about advertised businesses.

2. How Google User Data Is Used

Google user data is used for authorized business acquisition
alert processing, identifying listing links, preventing
duplicate records, and maintaining research reports.

Google user data is not used for advertising, selling personal
information, or sending unsolicited emails.

3. Gmail Permissions

The application uses Gmail read-only authorization.
Its current synchronization workflow does not send,
delete, archive, or modify Gmail messages.

4. Storage and Security

The application operates primarily on privately managed
computer infrastructure.

OAuth authorization credentials are stored locally using
Windows data protection mechanisms. Business research and
synchronization records are maintained in local application
storage, including databases and processing-state files.

Access is controlled through the operating system and
application security mechanisms. No storage system can
guarantee absolute security.

5. Sharing and AI Use

Google user data is not sold or used for targeted advertising.

The current Gmail alert synchronization workflow does not
forward mailbox messages to business listing marketplaces.

Google user data is not used to train generalized artificial
intelligence models. The application is not intended to transfer
Gmail information to third-party AI model providers.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Business research records and synchronization history may
be retained for research, duplicate prevention, and
application operation.

A fixed automatic deletion schedule is not currently
specified. Stored information can be deleted through
administrative maintenance procedures.

The account owner may revoke Google authorization through
Google Account settings. Revocation prevents future authorized
access but does not automatically delete previously stored
local information.

7. Google API Limited Use

received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services

public datasets. Those services maintain their own policies.

9. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated when application functionality,
permissions, or data-handling practices change. Material
changes will be disclosed and additional consent obtained
